Two flowers one wild one cultivated

    Well one of them is cultivated for sure. The other one I'm not sure I think it's wild but it could be planted. The pictures were taken at the local botanical gardens but didn't have any tags.

    Spring has come to Switzerland so I'm back starting to come back to the forum more often. There's lots of plants blooming and my shutter is getting over heated.

    Please help if you can. Thanks in advance.

    Cushion spurge - Euphorbia polychroma (E.epithymoides)perhaps?

    I did think it looked like a violet but couldn't find anything like it. I wasn't using the right tevchnical term in my search, freeckles :) :) . I tried splotches and possibly speckles but din't thin to try freckles.

    The first seems like a good match as well so thumbs up for Euphorbia polychroma

    You guys are great.
