Two flowers for ID

    These flowers are growing near the Pavilion in the North Garden.

    And these are growing in the Asian Garden. I love the look of them now, but we wondered if they would look really different when they open and it would be obvious to us what they are.

    The first image looks like an Asclepias. Near the Pavilion, it might be an unaccessioned planting. I think the second flower is fully open right now. It is Paris, but I don't know which one without the bed number.

    Hmm, someone should look where those Asclepias are. I can't see a reason to have an unaccessioned planting of milkweed.

    Sorry, I see that I do have a Paris tag - it got separated from the flower photo. Paris polyphylla var. polyphylla, Melanthiaceae family. Bed 3AC7.
