I have a three year old Twisty Baby Robinia and for the first time this year I notice that some of the leaves are turning yellow and falling off. Since it is only July I am wondering if the tree is in trouble. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Katherine Adele

Probably too wet or too dry.

Thank you so much. I guess it is hard to be more precise. I know that we have been watering a bit more this year as last year it looked a bit dry. Is there anyway to figure out which it is ---- TOO WET/OR TOO DRY? I so appreciate you taking the time to offer an opinion. Katherine

Dig around in the dirt to see what amount of moistness there is below the surface.
