I have a five year old "Twisty Baby" robinia in a pot. Most of the leaves are healthy, but some dry out and go limp. Is this a sign of disease?

I've noticed some dead twigs this year on a friend's 'Frisia' street tree. Perhaps some of these are having a problem with dampness lately. If yours has been in the same pot for some years knocking it out and giving it some fresh mix, a larger container could help. It might be having a pathogenic problem due to the potting soil having broken down and become too damp.

Of course, if it has become infested internally changing the rooting environment may not be enough at this stage to clear it up. But it re-potting may be something that needs to be done anyway.
