Twisted trunks, small green leaves, what is it??

    I don't think I've seen this type of tree before...or if I had, it definitely wasn't in a form like this. The trunks (and some branches) are twisted, the sides of the leaves curl inward, and the fruit (or flowers? I can't tell...) have a very pointed, geometric look to them. Any help you can offer would be appreciated greatly.

    I'm in Blair, NE, on the line in between USDA zones 4b and 5a.

    A spindle Euonymus of some sort.
