My neighbor asked for help identifying this flower that is coming up in his yard. He recalls that last autumn he planted a bulb in the garden bed, but can't find the notes that he meant to keep. The one big flower is just coming out, and it's purple. The twisted leaves are especially interesting...really quite lovely. (see photo) I've never seen anything quite like it! Can anyone identify it for us? Thanks!
