Can some help identify this? In the uk, never seen it flower. The foliage has only just started to come through after looking like a dead stump all winter. Just need to know if its a weed as we chopped down something last year and then found out a garden centre wanted a £100 quid for what we'd thought was a weed . Oops! Thanks for any help anyone can offer in advance :)
I have looked this up and it looks very similar to another that is in the garden covered in purple conical clusters of little flowers. I've never seen this one with a flower on it though, also, silly question but is this a 'good' plant to have? Thanks for your reply Ron B :)
Flower colour varies... could be purple, red, pink or white. http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Bu...AQ&biw=978&bih=411&sei=8dOYUbylKeXV4gTkz4CwAQ Butterflies will love it. http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Bu...cKIhQeGnIGgAQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=978&bih=411
Marvellous! Just didn't know if it was a bit of a nightmare to keep, it's already starting to get very busy so will just have to wait to the flowers to the butterflies to flutter by. Thanks guys
