trying to identify a flowering plant

    I am trying to identify a flowering plant.... they look like sugar cane plants & a white flower on a long stem grows out the middle of each shoot...i transplanted one & the inside looked like the bottom of green onions it also has some hairy web like stuff.. the flowers hang down.. kinds of bell shape
    please help if possible.....
