I had bought a potted plant from Ikea about a week ago and I would like some help on finding out what type of plant it actually is.

On the tag that was on the side of the pot, it just said Tropical Plant. Can anyone tell me what the botanical name of this plant is so I can do some research on it to find out how to properly care for it?

    Thanks!

Looks like a Parlour Palm - Chamaeodora elegans

Not sure what it is but it doesn't look like a typical parlour palm.

Looks like like a Parlor Palm multiple, IE many seedlings in one pot.

The stalks seem too stout and the leaves too broad and stiff for it to be a parlour palm. I could be wrong though.

I'll take a couple of more pictures of the leaves and stocks for everyone so you can get a better look at it.

I looked up the Parlour Palm and it doesn't look like that because the stalks on the Parlour Palm look a lot thicker.

You posted just as I added some more pictures!

That plant in the link looks a lot like mine.

    Thank you.
