    Ulmus of some sort, most likely Ulmus thomasii - Rock Elm (I say this because of your location; typically boulevard elms in Canada are White Elms, U. americana but in Ontario the native species was used.) You're very lucky - most of Ontario's elms fell to Dutch Elm Disease.
