Tree with unique leaf for Identification

    This tree has a rather unique coloured leaf. I would appreciate a name.

    Looks like a variety of tricolor beech.
    is it possible for you to just insert your pictures on the threads here? it save a couple of clicks for anyone that wants to look at them.

    Yes: Fagus sylvatica 'Purpurea Tricolor' ('Roseomarginata'). Commonly sold in North America, as tricolor beech. However, there is (or was--it may be extinct) a weaker cultivar 'Tricolor' with no purple coloring.

    no, funny enough, I am not kidding. an attached picture has a thumbnail here on the thread, that is oftentimes enough to id something. but if its a hassle or inconvenience for you, then just continue with business as usual, its not a life threatening issue I dont think.
