Tree/Shrub ?

Small tree, about 12'. Growing in Michigan.
Fragrant flowers.

 

Privet (Ligustrum).

 

My first thought too, but I can't find one with five petals on the flowers.

 

Weedbender, I don't see 5 petals. I'm thinking what you think is 5 petals is only 4. The ones that look like 5 are actually the base of one of the petals. Look closely at the ones to the extreme right.

It looks like Lonicera pileata, Privit Honeysuckle to me. Janet

Privet honeysuckle has mostly similar-sized narrowish leaves arranged in a comb-like or herringbone fashion and greenish flowers borne among the leaves, not white ones in terminal clusters.
