Hello There, I recently lost this tree to the clean up of a Douglas Fir that fell on it, the remainder of the tree was mistakenly cut down. I now have a small stump, cut pieces and a few branches. The tree produces flowers that are white with a yellow centre. As I really enjoyed this tree I would like to replace it, however am yet to identify it. As well I am wondering about the difficulty of stump removal.

Wild guess based on your location and flower description: Stewartia?
