tree identification

    just bought property and was wondering what type of tree this is - someone mentioned that it was a nut tree but I don't see any fruit at all (September)
    I live in Montreal - the tree is about 50 to 75 feet tall

    Ahh... thank you Ron.
    I might have recognized it with the flower (and scent) in the spring but not in it's present state. Great... I'm happy about that.
