Hi I have a very very unusual tree in my back yard.
this house is new to us and we really really thought this tree was dead and were even talking of cutting it down.

about 2 weeks ago some leaves really started sprouting

my husbands grandfather says its a orchid tree, could it be, we live in Mass , zone 6, from what ive read these only grow in very warm areas. this tree must be very old. it is huge, and in a very akward spot.

    thank you
    Kristen
