    Not sure what kind of Pine this is ... a garden in White Rock BC taken Nov. 12th

    Not a pine at all - a cedar: Deodar Cedar Cedrus deodara.

    The brown item is an old pollen (male) cone.

    Highly prevalent in our region. Once you learn it you will see it everywhere in the occupied landscape.
