Identification: Tree ID

    Location:
    Tiruvannamalai, INDIA, but I travel a lot!
    This tree was growing in a clearing in a predominately Redwood forest, beside a dry creek at the foothills of Mt Tam, Larkspur, Marin Co. CA (Nth of San Francisco)
    Once again I found these berries lying under the tree, but didn't see any on the tree. It was very tall and the top was too far to see clearly. The small branch included here was taken with a powerful zoom when quite dark, so it's a little blurry. Sorry.

    Probably Umbellularia.
