This was found in the landscaping of a parking lot in Central Indiana. It's blooming now. Smells and looks like lilac blossoms. Large clumps that are brownish when they start to bloom. The bees love it. 15' tree. Could this possibly be a Japanese Tree Lilac? Thanks in advance!
'Ivory Silk' Syringa reticulata? http://tdhnurseries.smugmug.com/Oth...TC/1383441218_b3btHtH#!i=1383441218&k=b3btHtH
Looks like it! Syringa reticulata - Japanese Tree Lilac. I wonder why we don't see more of this type of lilac? It blooms later than a "regular" lilac and has a nice form.
