Tree Id, I am not sure what I have. Can you help?

I purchased this tree thinking it was an avacado tree. I do know it is not a guava tree or a mango tree. I live in sunny Cabo San Lucas. desert climate with moderate humidity. I am new at this, I hope the photo is attatched to this posting. Thank you. Manuel

 

Looks like an avocado, but I am not familiar with the plant other than pictures. The leaves maybe don't look quite right.

 

The manner in which the leaves are oriented on the stems is also different.
