Tree from Philippines

    Please help me identify the attached photos. I found this tree in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. The tree is uniquely the only one species thriving amidst other tropical plants. Flowering occurs every february.

    Maybe it's Tabebuia sp.

    Looks like it might have little fluffy flowers like those of an acacia.

    Which rules out the tabebuia.... I've seen similar trees here, and they're usually called "rain of gold" which of course is not helpful in any way.

    Common name golden shower has been used for Cassia, which the one shown here doesn't look like.

    It's also used here for Senna, which that could be, Wisteria, gold-flowered varieties of Bouganvilla (which that is not), and a couple of others.
