Tree from India

    This tree was photographed in Bandhavgarh NP in India. I realise the photo isn't wonderful, but would appreciate any ideas.

    Could it have been a Bamboo?

    A closeup would really help.

    It does have the characteristics of a Grass or Bamboo but I doubt further ID is possible
    given the images we have.
