Many of these young trees were found growing between redwoods in a forest beside a rive in Yosemite National Park, California, at between 1,500 and 2,00 meters.

Hmm, I wonder where all the mature incense-Cedar trees were. There were many young ones, but none of the mature tree spottings I took got ID'd as this. Must have missed them! Thanks Ron and Michael for the ID...

At a casual glance they could be overlooked as small Giant Sequoias, the bark and overall foliage aspect seen from a distance is fairly similar.

Hmmm... thanks. Will put up a spotting of a tree trunk that may be a mature tree. Will you have a look at it? Tree 23.
