Hello from a new member. Can anyone give me some detailed "how to" instructions for transplanting sweetpea vines from one location to another. Do I need root balls of soil along with the plants, how large a ball is required, how often to water, etc.?? Please, can anyone help?

As far as I know, sweetpeas do not like transplanting. I would soak them well with a dilute fertilizer solution, take as large a rootball as I could, and do all this at the crack of dawn. Then water them well in to their new spot (which I'd amend with horse manure or compost) and protect them if possible (ie. shade them) till they perk up again.

A lot of TLC should get you through with minimal losses, late in the sweet pea season though it is!
