When is the optimum time to transplant rhubarb? Seems that there are 2 schools of thought on the subject: some folks transplant now (fall) and mulch plants well; others wait till early spring. Which of these is the better course of action?

It probably doesn't matter, as rhubarb is virtually impossible to kill. It's pretty difficult to eradicate too, so chances are you'll have shoots coming up in the old area for some time after.

Glad to know that my efforts will likely be successful.
