Transplanting grasses

    I recently took divisions from some of a relative's ornamental grasses. The species:zebra, switch, and some rhizomus grass? (about 5-6ft tall) I got most of the roots... and the zebra was dug up about a week b4 i dug the rest.... will they make it?
    PS: the zebra had a small peice of grass still on it and it looked pretty healthy... Thanx

    Hard to believe the timing (fall vs. spring) would actually kill them. Water and mulch well.
