I live in south eastern Michigan and have 3 mature quince trees that I need to relocate. I want to go about this delicately because I don't want to lose them. I am asking for any helpful Information like, when is the best time to transplant them?, Do i need more than 1 for pollination or do they self pollinate?, These trees produce many large fruits and are still dropping them. Do i need to wait till all the fruit and leaves are dropped before the transplant attempt?
