Hello, I live in central Oklahomaand had planted a blue atlas cedar in my flower bed late last year, 2009 around Sept/Oct timeframe. I have decided it is just not working where it is and needs to be moved over a couple of feet. It is about 7 ft tall. Is this possible w/o killing it? How should I tackle this? Thanks for any suggestions!

This large-growing tree eventually occupies a big space unless pruned frequently, so as to be kept small. You perhaps should think about moving it more than 2'. Same procedure as transplanting any other 7' tall specimen, if you are unfamiliar with moving trees maybe engage someone who is to help you with it.
