This apple is early, but cutting open a big sample the central core was almost empty of seeds although there was plenty of space for them. The large apple was not very sweet, and my experience with this type is that they get very soft if left. In fact I am tempted to uproot the tree and replace it. Trouble is that it is a four way grafted tree with the three other apple types doing well and was a gift from my daughter.

This variety is actually quite prized by bakers; the skin is thin enough that you don't have to peel it before using it in pies, etc. Doubtless you'll find someone in the neighbourhood who'd be glad to have them.

Transparent apples are just not very sweet. As woodschmoe said they are great baking apples. I am sure you could find someone that would take them off your hands. :) If you really don't want them, maybe you could just remove that branch rather than the whole tree.
