This mystery plant is my Grandmother's. It lives in a mixed container. The not so bright (kind of blurry) picture is it's real color. The flash on the other pictures washed it out. It trails in the way wandering jew does but is much sturdier than it. I believe it roots in the same way too.(if that makes a difference.) Thank you in advance for the help.
Angelwing Begonia. 'My Special Angel' http://ncfarmsinc.com/store/images/AW Beg. My Special Angel.jpg HTH Chris
It is Begonia lucerna, and it should produce pale pink flowers on a long stem.Good luck with your pretty Begonia!
thank you, I did a bit of research and I think that the lucerna is the closest match. I was glad to know that it is a begonia and I will go from there with the care and requirements.
They like bright light with a little bit of sun. They do really well outdoors in the same kind of light. Keep the soil a little bit on the moist side. Leggy plants can be cut back to just above a leaf joint and repotted back into the same pot, or start new ones.
