I bought 2 palms last year from costco T Fortunei and i brought them in the house last winter because i wasn't sure if theyd survive. Knowing now they can survive our winters i'm plant them in our back yard around the pool. Does anyone know what type of soil i have to plant them with or the best way so they're not shocked???

They seem to love Texas' dense alkaline clay so just about anything should be okay.
