Hi i live in the UK and have a Trachycarpus fortunei that i grew from seed, it is now over 9 years old and is growing outside. it has been growing well but suddenly the new leaves are collapsing before they can open. We have had a particullarly cold wet summer and growth has been slow, but now the weather has warmed up it seems to be growing fast but as the leaves leave the growing spike, they collapse before they can open. any idea what the problem could be?
