Our Grade 3 class is studying and caring for plants. A bright green "stain" has appeared on their torch cactus. Could anyone identify the symptom? Thank you.
Some cacti have a blueish wax layer on the epidermis, including this species (Pilosocereus pachycladus). It looks as if it has been partially removed, mechanically or chemically, on this plant.
