top leaves dying on rubber plant

i would say this is more like a tree . it is six ft high and 3ft wide and looks lovely in the summer i left it out i night to long in the autum and i think the frost has got to the leaf buds all have now dropped and gone brown , please help

 

You plant/tree sounds beautiful! All you can do is cut off the brown leaf buds that were effected by the cold and wait for more growth I'm afraid.

 

Thanks for that yes it was beautiful and everyone commented on it cos it was so big anyway i will do that (cut the tops off and wait ) with crossed fingers.
