too late for amaryllis to go dormant?

We got an amaryllis bulb just over a year ago. We followed the normal procedure of growing it indoors in the winter and it bloomed very well several times. I moved it outdoors in the late spring and gave it as much sun as possible. I also repotted it into a larger pot in the summer. I seem to have been a bit late in letting it go dormant in the early autumn. In October, just when I was about to try getting it to go dormant, I noticed that it had more blooms coming, so when I brought it back indoors just before an early hard frost in late October there seemed no choice but to let it bloom. Those blooms are now finished but there are further new shoots coming from the side of the bulb. I haven't watered it for awhile, not knowing whether to let it now go dormant or not. (I could put it into an unheated bathroom and continue to withhold water.)

Attached is a photo of the plant taken today with the faded leaves and blooms not cut off yet.

    Any suggestions?

Actually evergreen. Dormancy not required, nor is outdoor stay. Kept fertilized and growing well it will clump up and produce many flower stalks at once (from multiple bulbs).

Thanks for the advice. We'll keep it watered, fertilized and growing in the south-facing window.

What kind of fertilizer would you recommend?

Even though I had come across something about the product not being that great, the biggest clump I've seen was being given Schultz Instant. Mineral content of potting soil and irrigation water will affect individual results.

As a follow-up to my Dec. 2nd post, here is the same plant on January 20th, with four large blossoms and another flower bud coming.
