In the past I have grown my own tomato plants and have had no problem with getting tomatoes. This year, due to old seeds that grew poorly, I bought a couple of plants, a fantastic, and a small fruited variety. Anyways, the plants are doing great, but I have yet to see fruit on them. There are lots of flowers, but I hardly ever see them fully open. Is this due to the rainy weather, or lack of insects, or what? Thanks for your help.

I would say it is a bit of both, as my tomatoes are the same, I'm only now starting to see the fruit.

Nick- Likewise, many tomato plants both determinate and indeterminate (in south facing Zone 4 {mid Van. Island}lean-to greenhouse with good light on sunny days) plants with great size and colour but few flowers, fewer fruit which are are all green and pinched. Fed sheep manure and MgSO4, adequate water. What might be the problem?
