I did not take notes on this one. The red berries reminded me of some Araliaceae, but I don't think it is. Any ideas? Sorry for the poor pic. The plant in question is the one with serrate, palmately compound leaves. See pic 1.

    Specimen 2

Petals 5, yellow, much longer than sepals
    Ovary inferior
Flowers actinomorphic, solitary, whorled around nodes, bisexual, nodding
    Leaves opposite, simple, entire
    Stamens 5
Plant about 3 feet tall, herbaceous
    Found in a wet woods
    Stem square
    Petioles distinctly hairy
    See pics 2-4

    Specimen 3

I did not take notes for this one, but it looks distinct enough to be ID'ed by sight. See pics 5-8

    Specimen 4
Again, no notes, sorry. See pics 9-11. Found along a railroad track between a river and a beech-maple forest.
