I had made some new vegi beds last fall for asparagus ( 2- 2' x 10' 18" raised beds ). My intention is to find some asparagus crowns soon and get started on some serious years of asparagus harvesting. My questions are: Soil preparation? I've read good drainage is important?... Type of crown? Is there a specific variety anyone loves?... General tips?.. BTY, full sun! Thanks
