    Hi again,
In addition to the white worms I just posted about, I have these little worms that are burrowing into my potatoes and onions. They are much smaller, tiny with lots of little legs, and they like to curl up like a snail. I've also seen them before in a Christmas cactus we keep indoors, but these pictures are taken from the vegetable garden. Any ideas what they are, and if I should be doing anything about them?

    Really appreciate your help.

Wonderful--they do look like nasty ones. Any suggestions on what to do? From reading online, it doesn't look like there are many options...

There aren't. The best I've come across for wireworm is a nasty chemical from Dow Agrosciences called Lorsban. Other than this, you can try heat-sterilizing your soil using a propane torch and a lot of caution, but even three rounds of that with tilling in between doesn't seem to get them all.
