A friend of mine has this slowly spreading in patches across her grass near the shores of Lake Michigan. She says she bought it years ago, but can't remember the name, and I have never seen it elsewhere in Michigan. (Our zone is much like B.C.) It is growing near very happy hostas and shaded by a very large conifer.

The flowers are about 1/2 inch across, with the tiniest violet star lined in the off white petals. the leaves are never bigger than the flower, tri-pointed and mint-green. It adds a very pleasant accent to otherwise boring grass...

Does anybody have a name or even a guess for this plant? Thanks so much!

Thank you so much! That's it!
After googling your Pratia pedunculata, I am also finding it called Isotoma fluviatilis Blue Star Creeper.
    Köszönöm!
