The following was received via email from Jane:

I am trying to identify this plant. I live in cleveland ohio, bought it from a store without a tag on it. The flowers are smaller than my pinky nail and the plant is only about 6" tall.

Close but not it. The stems are a little red / purplish and the leaves are more slender and not so many of them, less bushy

What about Sanvitalia procumbens? That's a common garden plant.
