I have had a dwarf Meyer Lemon tree for around 7/8 years. It is in a large terra cotta pot. It's been potted up from a smaller pot.

Where I lived before, 10 miles from the pacific, northern CA on the side of a ridge, it produced one miniscule lemon. Now I live 1 mile from the Pacific (can see it) on the top of a ridge, farther north, and it is producing many blossoms, but the fruit is the size of a walnut. We get heat up here in the summer and it gets good sun exposure. We get a some frost in winter, but I cover it.

I feed it a citrus fertilizer. The leaves are green. I'm wondering if I should plant it in the earth. The soil here is clay/acid. I'd plant it in a mound.

    Thanks for any suggestions.
