I have a floor plant (maybe a Spathiphyllum; I got it from my Grandmothers funeral a year and a half ago).

I think some kind of bug is eating its roots. The plant has been unhealthy ever since I got it back from my mom who kept it for me a couple of months. The leaves are curling (it has big leaves and half of the leaf curls inward tightly toward the middle and the other side of the leaf seems to slightly curl outwards), and it hasn't had any new growth since I got it back.

I have notice some tiny bugs, that I think are white, crawling around in the dirt. They are almost microscopic; they move when I water the plant or mess with the dirt and that is the only time that I can see them.

I think my mom had the plant outside for a while which is probably where it got these.

Any idea what they are, and how I can get rid of them?

sounds like you need to repot!! i'd unpot it and rinse the roots very, very, very well and then pot up again using fresh soil.
