i have had a jade plant for a while now, and it has flowered. i wish i could get a pic for you but my camera will not focous on the bugs.

let me describe them for you: they are tiny, about the size of half a rice grain. they seem to be attracted to the newly sprouted flowers. i have a humidifier going, and i hope this will elimanate the problem.

does anyone know what these bugs are??? again there black and very small, larger than a spider mite but smaller than a staple.

your help is very appreciated, this plant is in my bedroom, and the last thing i need is bugs!!

are they fast-moving or slow-moving? do they fly? are they just on the leaves or on the trunk also? upper side or lower side of the leaves? do you have any bits of webbing happening anywhere on the plant? what about bits of leaves/trunk being eaten?

well, id have to say they are very slow moving, i've noticed that a few of them have wings now. they are mainly on the flowers, but a few of them are haning out of the jade leaves.

there is no evidence of webbing.

    hope this helps a bit
