    Greetings,

I just saw this happening with the root of my Linden (Tilia) tree.

As if something is eating the root and also making holes is the trunk.

Which pesticides I can use? Any chance I can save the tree?

    Regards,

Holes in trunk imply borers. Anyway best to have tree examined in person by an arborist.

Ron, Thanks for the response. Sadly good arborists are not easy to find in my region. We consulted one and he said its the girdling root issue that is affecting two of our trees and attracting borer . He suggested root surgery for one of them that can be saved which is a 17-18 year old plants. I am really unsure what to do.
