I have recently moved to the lower mainland and would like to plant some cedar hedging. I see it's very common here, and I was wondering what the best cultivars are for the PNW and what is usually available in Nurseries. I have looked in many books, but there seem to be so many cultivars it's overwhelming! I appreciate any help as I can get Melissa
Most cultivars being offered there in quantity will be suitable for local conditions. Find out what kinds you have access to and then research these to see which one you might like.
