Thorny White Wildflower

    This wildflower popped up in my yard this week (southern Alabama) and is prickly.

    Any ideas? Sorry the pictures are of such poor quality.

    Is there any chance you could add new pics to this thread, taken in daylight.
    What colour are the flowers?
    How many petals does it have...5?
    You mention thorns and prickles. What part of the plant has these, as I am not able to see these from your pics.?
