    Hello,

I live in a zone 5 climate in BC, Canada and would like to plant Thornless Blackberry Canes. Can anyone recommend a type to buy and where in BC I can buy them?

    Thanks,

    LeonaS

Black Satin, Chester, Triple Crown or Hull should do ok for you. Most of those should do well out there. My favorite is Triple Crown. I had a small u-pick grower start his operation with 4 acres of these cultivars in the Central Okanagan. They will tolerate
-25C most years without damage. It doesn't hurt to mulch them a bit at the base. If you can grow peaches there you can grow these blackberries. Try your local garden center. Cheers
