This stuff spreads everywhere!

    It spreads everywhere, but I have no idea what it is. Others have told me it's St. Johns-Wort. The BC index of Invasive Weeds that shows a picture of St. Johns-Wort that looks nothing like this plant, so I'm guessing it's not that.

    It's a terrific ground cover though. Unfortunately, it's too successful and I'm going to get rid of it from most of the garden. Ripping it out doesn't do anything so I'm going to have to turn to glyphosate (I didnt want to!).

    It is a Hypericum, but I don't recognize the species off hand. From the photos on line I would guess H. inodorum?, but that is really a guess. One of the experts will probably know though as it is widely used as a ground cover. Harry
