Hello, I’m sitting on the fence as to whether or not to construct a terrarium. Does/has anyone have/had a terrarium, and do they have any advice? Good plants that I will do well but not grow out of the top? What are some good creatures I might want to put in? Is there any reasons I might NOT want to make a terrarium? Cost is a major issue for me and I don’t want to walk into this lightly. Any and all experienced advice would be greatly appreciated. Why, for example, are terrariums not more common? Hi, there's a very active terrarium forum (with a gallery) at www.gardenweb.com/forums/terrariums and there are a lot of people who know what they're doing there, plus a ton of pix of terrs. and vivariums for inspiration.
