the Snake pine Tree

    This is what I call the Snake pine tree. It is climbing around its sister tree. Isn't it beautiful?

    How did this tree grew. THye ar planted around 1956 alomhg the sea cost and the sea is wathdrew since them about 120 m from the original line.
    Any coments please? Is anyone who is nterested to do some studies in this area I can help.

    Aleppo Pine Pinus halepensis.

    Probably two seedlings were planted together by accident, and the weaker one grew sideways at first to get into the light, away from its dominant sibling.
